National Women’s History Month

Contributions of U.S. Women Past to Present…
People are what makes a country great.  Statistics from recent Pew Research shows that most Americans believe the United States is among the greatest countries in the world.  Our people - women and men, every color and nationality - are what make our nation so great!  During the month of March, we recognize women’s historic contributions to our world.
Every great change is precipitated by a move of the Holy Spirit.  History records that the Great Awakening, powerful Holy Spirit revivals and preaching emphasizing holy living and personal relationship with Jesus Christ, swept through the colonies like fire in the 1710s and 1720s, lasting well into the 1750s and 1760s.  The Great Awakening’s secular twin, a movement called the “American Enlightenment”, began almost simultaneously, with great advances in science, rational thought and philosophy.  These revivals fueled awakenings in thought and philosophies, which ultimately led to the American…

Dont You Cry No More

"Woman, why weepest thou?" John 20:13

What has made you cry until your tears become a continuous fountain? Have you ever had someone embarrass you publicly, and they enjoyed it? What about when you look at your check and you have been cheated out of your bonus. Ever been laid off? What was your reaction when someone hit your car in the parking lot with a grocery cart and did not leave you a note on how to find them? It does not take much to break your heart when someone has attacked you, violated you or let you down.

Mary was heartbroken that early Sunday morning. She wept with deep sorrow because she did not know what was happening. She was confused, Her Savior, her friend, her Deliverer, her Lord was gone and she did not know where He was. What was precious to her was taken away. She lost the most important person in her life. Now life was worthless and hopeless without Him. She had lost any hope for a future. Her dream was dead and her promise was broken. And now she did …

God's Treasures

"but we have this treasure in earthen vessels," 2 Corinthians 4:7

Have you ever felt worthless, or did not perceive the value you have? Have people ever tried to make you feel less than you should about yourself? But who determines your value? Who decides what your appraisal should be? The answer is God.

God has made you, and you are a rare vessel. You are a treasure in an earthen vessel. You are a vessel of honor. Did you know that God does not have a junkyard? The devil tries to convince us that we are useless and obtain no value. But the devil is a liar. God made you and loves you the way you are.

If God be for us, who can be against us? Believe today that God will show Himself to you and allow you to see yourself from His view. Pray this prayer: "Father, I am Your gift, and I will declare Your glory. I worship you this day in the beauty of your holiness. I accept myself for who I am because I am wonderfully and fearfully made. I am made in your image to reflect you…

What Is On Your Mind?

“Think on these things.” Philippians 4:8 The level of our potential depends upon the level of our thinking. If we let our minds wander into doubt and unbelief, we will drown in fear. Fear is false evidence appearing real. We cannot allow ourselves to daydream and let the devil take control of our thinking. Some Christians need to get rid of stinking thinking and get a checkup from the neck up.
Paul compelled the Philippians to think thoughts that are true, just, pure, lovely, of good report, of virtue, and of praise. Negative thinking will not only prevent you from reaching your potential, it will kill your dreams. A person who cannot dream will eventually start having nightmares.
All this week we have been focusing on our thoughts and on meditation. The Hebrew word we have focused on is, “Hagah.” The same word can be translated differently and according to the mental images of the individual. “Hagah” also means to murmur, mutter or mourn. Isaiah declared, “Your tongue hath muttered…

The Passover

We are built by the blood of Jesus Christ. As New Testament believers, our foundation for learning about Passover starts with Jesus Christ the Messiah – the Lamb who was slain before the foundations of the earth. His blood is our purchasing power and what has redeemed us. It’s all about the blood of Jesus. The Biblical Feasts illuminate supernatural truths and blessings for you today. They were all built on the foundation of God’s blood covenant with mankind. Because of the blood, there are great benefits for you!

God establishes Passover to be kept forever as Exodus 12:14 states, “And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.”

The story of Exodus was foretold by God in Genesis 15:13-16.

“And He said to Abram, “Know with certainty that your offspring shall be aliens in a land not their own- and they will serve them, and they will oppress them- four hundred years. …
